All IVC clubs belong to a national network of clubs, the Association of IVCs or AIVC, with over 40 clubs nationwide.
Each club is run independently, but being part of a national group provides opportunities to attend events run by other clubs. These are often weekends away and holidays, both in the UK and abroad. A list of all clubs and details of shared events and national events can be found on the AIVC website www.ivc.org.uk.
The first club was started over 70 years ago in Cambridge by two university students. Today there are many clubs across the UK, with around 3000 people from all walks of life, enjoying the benefits of membership. Being part of a national group enables members to attend events run by other clubs or to join together to share events like outings, holidays and weekends away.
The photos below show a selection of activities which IVC clubs have organised, and then a selection of upcoming national events organised by other IVC clubs is shown.
