Meetup.com Nottingham IVC has a presence on Meetup.com to help prospective members to find us.  Our calendar of events is mirrored there (minus personal information and location details) which is advantageous to us all because Meetup allows you to RSVP.  This means that each person can respond yes / no / maybe to an event, and everyone can see who else is interested in attending something. Please remember that some event titles already contain the name of the location where an event is held, even though this is publicly visible – bear this in mind when creating your events.  Also, any photographs you upload to Meetup can be viewed by others in their original size even though this isn't immediately obvious. If you're a full member of Nottingham IVC and have signed-up to Meetup, you should be labelled as a full or temporary member soon afterwards.  If you don't want to use your real name, please add a photograph or e-mail Lee to let him know who you really are so that he doesn't mistake you for a non-member. Please remember that many of the Meetup users in the Nottingham IVC group have not yet joined to get their first month's temporary membership, e.g. by coming to club night.  There is a mailing list which reaches the whole Meetup group – new messages require approval, so expect some delay before delivery.
